We co-owned Osage with our good friend Mitchell Perry during her breeding career.
She came here for whelping and returned to Mitch when the pups were weaned.
Now that her breeding career is over she is Mitchell's most beloved pet.
He also has a daughter of her last breeding with Iron - Centauri's Versage.
Osage passed away at the age of 12 in July of 2002.

Osage had four litters - each one year apart.

1994- Bred to Ivan Xandra v Caya's Home, Sch H II, OFA (Iron's litter brother) 16 puppies
1995 - Bred to Centauri's Quinn, Sch H I, OFA - 15 puppies
1996 - Bred to Quinn again (OK - it was one of my all time favorite breedings) - 13 puppies
1997 - Bred to Iron Xandra v Caya's Home, Sch H III, IPO III, OFA - 8 pups

We don't usually breed a female more than twice, however the great temperaments she has thrown are legendary
- social handsome animals with pleasant personalities. She in one of the three
most beautiful bitches we have ever produced (her mother Irca was another
great beauty in the Belgian style).

The longer we have had Ukkie (who is almost 14 years old!) the more respect I have for her.
She is intense, energetic and dominant - all the while being very affectionate and personable.
46 lbs. of whirlwind - perfectly willing to cuddle in your lap for a nice nap.
Her offspring can be both intense and beautiful - Thank You Caya!
Ukkie is now retired and living with our youngest daughter, Meri and her family.

Ukkie was euthanized on Tuesday, December 10, 2002, a few weeks shy of her 14th birthday.
She was in great pain, not eating well, losing weight and having difficulty walking. She is truly missed
